This year, Jacksons Fencing is exhibiting at The Security Event for the first time. Held at the NEC, Birmingham from the 25th-27th April, the three day event brings together installers, integrators, manufacturers, distributors, and end users of security services and products. Typically, perimeter fencing suppliers have not featured at the show, so Jacksons Fencing is avidly joining as one of the first exhibiting companies which manufactures security fencing.

Manufacturing products in the UK since 1947, we are proud of our British heritage and will be showcasing a number of bestselling products on our art gallery themed stand through ‘sculptures’ and ‘paintings’ – it’s not to be missed.

We have a large portfolio of clients and customers in all sectors from education providers, housebuilders, sports venues, and transport facilities, to data centres, utilities, government properties, and MOD sites.

In 2015, the Jacksons Security Fencing division greatly expanded with our Eurotunnel contract; supplying and installing over 14km of fencing and gates to help secure the tunnels and keep people safe.

As an environmentally conscious company we were pleased to see how the events industry are helping to reduce waste by asking exhibitors to sign sustainability pledges. A number of ways we will be reducing our environmental impact include:

  • Opting for a smaller stand space - less electricity to power our stand and overall reducing any kind of waste.
  • The use of custom, reusable counters and cupboards
  • No printed materials (apart from those printed before the pledge)
  • Use of the organisers' recommended graphics suppliers who use recycled/sustainable materials
  • No pointless promotional items
  • Eco-friendly snacks
  • Reusing our display and test panels from last year
