Can height restriction barriers be customised?

Yes, their height and width can be adapted to suit your specific site requirements, as well as the colour. We generally recommend a bright colour to ensure visibility.

Common places for height restriction barriers

Height restriction barriers are often installed in tourist hotspot car parks, train stations, schools, leisure centres, retail parks and shopping centres, and healthcare facilities.

How easy is it to install and maintain height restriction barriers?

Height restriction barriers are fairly straightforward to install by experienced professionals, but ensure that the installation is well planned beforehand. For example, take into account any sloping ground or uneven terrain that will affect the finished height of the barrier, as vehicle users will need to trust that they can enter and exit safely to prevent delays and accidents. Made from galvanised steel which our customers usually choose to polyester powder coat for visibility, our height restriction barriers are easy to maintain and will simply need a gentle clean to remove dirt, and oiling of any moving parts.

What are the benefits of using height restriction barriers in car parks?

Benefits include preventing damage to property, controlling traffic, enhancing security, and ensuring that only vehicles of appropriate height enter specific areas. This increases safety and helps to manage traffic flow efficiently by reducing larger vehicles manoeuvring often small spaces, and causing congestion.
