May 2011: Following the recent announcement of the closure of established firm Le Maistre Brothers -  Jacksons Fencing, the UK based designer, manufacturer and supplier of quality timber and steel fencing / garden products announces the appointment of JF(T)U trading as Town & Country as its new distributor for Jersey with effect from 1st June 2011.

As a well established retail business on the island (JF(T)U Town & Country was formed in 1927 trading as an agricultural merchant), Town & Country represents a natural fit with the Jacksons Fencing brand, both in terms of the portfolio of products available in store as well as its proven heritage within the agricultural / outdoor living market sectors.  

Jacksons Fencing products will be on display at the two JF(T)U retail sites: Town & Country Central, Sion, La Grande Route de St Jean, Trinity, and at Southfork, La Rue Du Trot, St Martin. Both locations will provide customers with access to the extensive Jacksons Fencing portfolio, either on a supply only basis (for self installation) or via the company’s list of approved expert installers.

Commenting on the new association with JF(T)U Town & Country, Chief Executive Richard Jackson says “we are delighted to be working with JF(T)U, a company which enjoys such an established reputation for excellence within our key markets, and which also has the potential to extend the reach of the Jacksons product portfolio to a wider target audience on the island”.
