Security Fencing Options for Military Sites

Common fencing solutions for military site such as RAF, Army and Naval bases include Securi-Mesh^® and Securi-Mesh^® Plus. Commonly know as prison mesh and double skin mesh, these fencing systems feature secure clamp bars and tamper-proof fixings with panels overlapped at posts, and a close-knit, anti-climb design which stop objects being passed through. Both types are available as either LPS 1175, Government specification or CPNI rated versions, and can be topped with barbed wire and integrated with PIDS (Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems). The use of PIDS is recommended to detect any attempts to cut, climb, or vandalise the fence at the earliest sign possible.
