All materials are heavily galvanised or Galfan coated (Galfan is a zinc aluminium coating that delivers double the level of protection afforded by conventional galvanising) to the very highest standards.

Our powder coating process employs the use of an architectural grade powder which is less porous than the fencing powder traditionally used in the industry. This superior product provides Jacksons’ with the unique opportunity to offer its 25-year guarantee that is officially backed by Akzo Nobel, manufacturers of the powder.

Superior fittings/clips/fixings

All fittings, clips and fixings are specifically designed to match and complement the coating of the product, ensuring that the overall quality of the installation is not in any way compromised. Stainless steel or other state of the art coatings usually feature on such components.

The Jacksons 25 Year Service Life Guarantee provides total peace of mind that a product has been designed, manufactured and road-tested to ensure it is 100% fit for purpose. Our customers benefit from the company’s unrivalled technical expertise and experience, which results in all items in the Jacksons portfolio delivering a superior performance. If a customer identifies an inherent defect in the design, manufacturing finish or fitness for purpose of a product, during the lifetime of the guarantee, we will replace the item free of charge. (this excludes locks, bearings, rollers and other parts subject to wear and tear).

The Jacksons Service Life Guarantee gives you the peace of mind that your Jacksons fence or gate will be serviceable for 25 years subject to normal maintenance and proper use. Any materials and non wearing parts that fail in service will be replaced free of charge under the following conditions:

• The fencing or gates (hereinafter referred to as the product) must not have been misused or placed in unusual conditions, such as within 500 metres of the sea or estuary. If damage is caused by vehicle impact, acts of vandalism, forced entry or other unforeseen acts not associated with the normal use of the product, the guarantee on that part of the product will be invalid until such time as it has been replaced.

• Where the product has been cut, drilled or the substrate exposed to the elements, the steel should be treated immediately with a good quality zinc rich coating.
• The product should be regularly maintained and its surfaces kept free from dirt and corrosive matter for the duration of this guarantee.
• This guarantee covers the cost of replacing defective materials. Consequential costs incurred as a result of replacing materials are excluded.
• This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights.
