Challenge
Jaguar Land Rover established a new luxury show room in Watford earlier last year to accommodate the growing business needs of the local area. The new site, located in the Colne Valley Retail Park, facilitates an 18-car showroom and external display area as well as an MOT bay and valeting facilities.
With around 50 fulltime employees, frequent visitors and a vast number of high value motor vehicles, it was imperative that the site was secured with adequate perimeter security and access control to ensure the safety of site personnel and protect commercial assets.
Solution
Jacksons were specified to supply and install 45 meters of 2.4m high Euroguard® Combi, alongside a matching 5 meter wide automated sliding gate, plus a 7 meters square compound of 2.4m high Euroguard® Combi fencing with a matching 1.8m high flat Euroguard® Combi gate. Euroguard® Combi is composed of a robust welded mesh panel with no hand or foot holds for enhanced security, completed with timber slats to increase privacy and create a natural wooden design.
On top of this, three Automatic Rising Bollards were fitted in the access road to the site to ensure vehicular traffic could be controlled accordingly, completing perimeter security solutions. This has ensured that access to the showroom can be regulated and the surrounding area is secured from intruders, whilst remaining aesthetically pleasing to visitors and the local residents.
