Challenge
Ashchurch Villas is a £30 million residential project in Hammersmith, West London undertaken by Balfour Beatty. The project included 15 villas and 7 stylish mews houses and required over 450m of Jacksons fencing with a contemporary design to provide safety and security to residents as well as automated and manual gates to provide access controls.
Solution
In order to match the modern design of the new development, it was decided that our Barbican Imperial® fencing would be used along the site perimeter. The steel fence was chosen for its stylish appearance and unique vandal-proof fence panel to post connectors, providing security for residents without appearing intimidating. Alongside this, our matching automatic and manual Barbican Imperial gates were installed throughout the site to provide secure access control to the homes.
In the garden areas timber Hit and Miss fencing was installed, providing a warm and welcoming aesthetic, the Hit and Miss fencing is made up of contemporary slatted pales enhancing both privacy and security and guaranteed against rot and insect attack for 25 years.
